Lukas' 1st Christmas

Wow! Christmas has already come and gone. We had a wonderful holiday celebrating Lukas' 1st Christmas with both sides of our families. Lukas was oblivious to the whole thing, but will surely appreciate his new books, trucks, clothes, & misc toys throughout the upcoming year.

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Strauss side of the family at Amy's this year. (Yes, we had a real Turkey!) Lukas had a great time snuggling with Grandma & Grandpa, Aunt Amy, and Uncle Brian. Uncle Brian tried to serve him a turkey leg, but Lukas didn't go for it...maybe next year! We are so thankful for our healthy & happy baby boy.

Lukas' 2 month birthday

Lukas is two months old! Here are some pictures from his big day. He started chewing on his hands to celebrate!

2 Month Stats

Lukas had his two month check-up today. The vaccines were equally as difficult for he and mommy. He's doing fine now; contentedly chewing on his hand. We'll see how the rest of the evening goes!

Height...24 inches...90 percentile

Perhaps he will play basketball rather than baseball!

Lukas started smiling and giggling with us on Election day. Maybe he'll be the President someday rather than a baseball player!

This weekend we went to Traverse City to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. Lukas was an excellent traveler.

Lukas' 1 month birthday

Where has the time gone? Our sweet baby is already 1 month old. To celebrate we went downtown for ice cream and coffee. Well, mom & dad celebrated while Lukas slept!

Lukas meets Aunt Amy & Uncle Brian

Amy & Brian came to meet Lukas this past weekend. Saturday turned out to be a really nice day so we celebrated Lukas' 3 week birthday by going to the apple orchard.
